1. Wet Weather Policy – Lessons

● If a class is cancelled due to wet weather, students will receive a class credit.

● Credits can be used for future tennis classes only on alternative days where spots are available and cannot be applied as a discount or refund for other services, equipment, or fees.

● Credits are non-transferable and must be used within the current term or the next available session.

2. Wet Weather Policy – Tennis Camps

● If a camp day is cancelled due to wet weather, students will receive a refund for that day.

3. Hot Weather Policy – Tennis Camps

● If a camp day is cancelled due to excessive heat, students will receive a refund for that day.

4. Cancellation and Credit Policy

● No credits will be issued for cancellations made by the student or parent/guardian for reasons other than wet weather.

● If a student is unable to attend a class for any other reason (e.g., illness, vacation), the missed session will not be rescheduled or credited.

● Classes may be cancelled by the coaching team due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, class credits will be issued.

5. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

● Parents or guardians are responsible for informing coaches of any relevant health, medical, or personal information regarding their child that may affect their participation in the class (e.g., allergies, medical conditions, behavioural concerns).

● Failure to provide important information may result in the student being unable to participate or increased risk during activities.

6. Student Safety

● Students are expected to only participate if they are physically fit and uninjured. Any student with an injury or medical condition that may affect their safety or performance should not participate in the class.

● It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to determine the student’s ability to participate, and coaches should be informed of any existing injuries prior to class.

7. Coaches’ Liability

● Coaches and the tennis facility are not responsible for any injuries sustained during class or while on the premises.
● Coaches are also not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal equipment or belongings during the tennis sessions.

8. Tennis Lesson Class Cancellations

● Classes may be cancelled at short notice due to weather conditions, facility issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. Parents and guardians will be notified as early as possible.

● In the case of a cancellation, credits will be issued for future classes as per the Wet Weather Policy, but no refunds will be provided. By enrolling in the tennis classes, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.

9. Expected Behaviour

● Please remember that we are a family-friendly centre and respect all players and workers. Put all rubbish in the bins provided, close the gates after you and turn off shed lights when leaving your court. Court management reserves the right to ask anyone who does not respect the above conditions to leave the centre. No credit or refund will be given.

Court Hire Terms and Conditions

By confirming payment for Court Hire, you agree to KTP Sports Terms & Conditions.

● Safety – Due to our extensive operating hours, we cannot always guarantee a certified first aid officer will be onsite. It is the responsibility of the court hirer to have their own first aid supplies and know that first aid will not be available to them at all times. Hirers play at their own risk.

● Cancellations – A casual booking may be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the booking time and a credit will be provided for future use.

● Playing Over Time – It is the responsibility of the hirer to finish playing at the designated time. If the court is vacant after the expired period, the hirer may extend their session and an additional charge will be applied.

● Wet Weather – Our synthetic grass courts shed water very well and will usually only be unplayable after prolonged heavy rain. If the rain stops, the courts will generally be playable again after approximately one hour in warm weather and up to two hours in colder weather. Determination of play-ability during wet weather is at the sole discretion of the Court Manager. Credit will be applied to your account if play is deemed as unsafe.

● If your booking is cancelled by us due to wet weather, you will receive an email with a court hire credit voucher. This credit can be used for any future booking through our online court booking system. If you have not received an email with your credit voucher number, please email the Pro-shop with your booking details to request it. No refunds are given.
